FRSC Salary 2024, Ranks And Allowance (Federal Road Safety).

FRSC which stands for Federal Road Safety Corps is a paramilitary agency in Nigeria which is in charge of maintaining the laws of driving, issuing of drivers license and advising drivers and the best ways to maintain a safety driving. Though this is not all the basic work of the FRSC but this is their main work currently in Nigeria.

So talking about the salary and the ranks of the FRSC, it is categorized in such a way that the higher your qualification, the higher the rank and the salary just like the Nigeria Customs Service ranks and salary. Before we discuss the salary of the FRSC, let’s look at the ranks first.

As we mentioned earlier, the ranks in the FRSC is categorized based on the qualification. Below is how the ranks is categorized based on qualification.

The FRSC SSCE certificate holders are placed at the rank of Marshal Inspector (MI). The NCE and National Diploma certificate holders are placed at the rank of Marshal Inspector 2 (MI – 2) while the BSC and HND certificate holders in FRSC are placed at the rank of Assistant Route Commander (ARC). Below is the complete ranks of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

Now let’s look at the complete salary of the FRSC as we have seen the complete ranks in the FRSC. Before we list the complete salary of the FRSC, let’s first look at how the salary is categorized.

FRSC Salary

FRSC Salary For SSCE certificate holders is between N29,789 – N37,003. Please note that this is the estimated starting salary for the SSCE certificate holders in the FRSC as their salary will still be increased as they are promoted to their next rank. The NCE and the National Diploma (OND) in the FRSC are paid about N45,000 – N56,000. The amount stated above is the starting salary for the NCE and National Diploma certificate holders before they are promoted to their next rank. FRSC Salary for Officer cadre or graduates (HND and BSC certificate holders) are paid between N121,000 – N2,616,000 monthly depending on the rank of the Officer.

FRSC Training Allowance

The FRSC Training Allowance is about N12,000 – N16,000 for those who joined the Agency using SSCE, National Diploma and NCE certificate while those who joined the Agency using BSC or HND certificate are paid between N20,000 – 40,000 monthly.

Apart from the FRSC training allowance, there are other few allowances which are paid to the Federal Road Safety Corps members. Below are the few allowances.
